Things I have learned :)
I feel i have learned many different things so far in this class that may help me in future classes. The one thing that will really help me is learning how to do a good and correct citation. Although i use my Writer's Resource all the time, i now have a much better understanding on how to cite correctly and most efficiently! I also have a much better understanding on how to find all of the information that is needed to cite different sources other than just books. I also think that using APA along with MLA was also very helpful. I have found i like MLA much better! I also think that the criteria for finding a good website or source was very helpful. This is something that will help me in almost every class i take. Finding good sources can make or break a research paper! I also found that learning how to find books on the library catalog and then finding them in the library was very helpful as well. This is also something that will help me find better sources for future research papers. Overall i think this class will help not only me, but the other students out a lot in future classes. Hopefully everyone has found this class as helpful as i have!

I agree with you, knowing how to do citations the proper way is such a relief. I still use my writer's resource book too. But, now I will just use it as reference. I think APA is easier to cite than MLA. APA simplifies everything!Finding books on the library catalog will also be helpful for future classes.
ReplyDeleteFiguring how to cite efficiently has helped a lot after participating in this class. I never knew about GIL-Find, until this class and it has helped much more to find efficient websites about my source. The library catalog has helped a lot as well, when I was searching my books, it was efficient and fast.
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Learning more about citations and MLA was very useful and we can use this in out future classes. I also didnt know about GIL-Find until this class and im very glad she showed us how to use this and it has been very helpful for me and i hope it is for you as well! Good Luck in this class girly!
ReplyDeleteKnowing how to properly cite stuff is probably the biggest thing we’ve learned for everybody just because for any class that you have write papers you are going to have to know how to do that. Also it was beneficial because she told us how to cite for MLA and APA format. I couldn’t agree more with your post!
